Hello. I recently won a Macbook pro in my work raffle. I have no use for it and could use the cash so I am selling it. Seeing as I am not a Mac guy this is my first post on here so I understand any fears. Transaction would be done with a reputable source like paypal or something of that nature. Hey man, instead of bumping, why don't you comply with what people are asking here? It'd help you sell it a lot better. Simply write down your username on a sheet of paper, and take a picture of your Macbook Pro with the piece of paper next to it so we know that you are legit and you are in possession of the computer. Write your user name, ie: dvsmithboy23 on paper, place it in front of the Macbook and take a picture. Maybe supply references, ie: eBay user name, heatware, etc. His only posts to the forums is for this sale. Unlike Mac Rumors marketplace, where you have to have posted 100 times in other forums other than the Marketplace before you are allowed to post a For Sale thread, Macnn lets you post for sale from the get go.... so people are weary... and rightly so. This guy selling the Mac, Dvsmithboy23, is a scammer..check this link. Note the email address at the end of the first post...same as his username here on your forum.

FS: Canon 1ds Mark II - Open Photography Forums

He was trying to sell a high end Digital camera on the Open Photographer Forum..some guy from that forum tracked his e-mail address and found this post of his, here. Pretty funny/not so funny, he goes for big ticket stuff.

Anyhow, I'm not sure you guys figured this one since he bailed on a "sold on craigs, but thanks" excuse.

I'm a mac guy and I registered here to make this post, maybe I'll stick around and bug the crap out of you guys with tech questions.
