Hello all, I've got a couple questions..
1. Lately, my computer has been making a buzzing noise. Its actually making it right now as well. I've got nothing open but Safari and Mail. Could this be related to third party RAM I installed over 2 months ago? I've got no idea what this sound is, it sort of sounds like it is coming from the right side.
2. I've got the discoloration on the wristpad and area next to it. I went into the store and they said they would not replace it, but the guy from Apple Care said they would.. should I go back in and try again?

Thanks for the help

Is the buzzing constant? have you tried taking out your ram and see if the buzz goes away?

bring it in and nicely explain that this is a known issue, applecare said they would replace it, and it is described even on apple's own support page

just to make sure . . . did you check your charger if the buzzing is coming from there . . I've had that happen to me before where i thought it was my macbook, but it was really the charger buzzin

second question - i would agree with the first response and bring it into the store nicely. I brought mine in and they actually changed it on the spot for me.

Thanks guys, Ill take out the RAM tomorrow and see if that was the problem, and it happened with and without the charger plugged in.
