not me, but as I said elsewhere .. everyone who's owned one has commented on the higher noise in the images (pictures are grainier) compared to the s410 (4mpixel same body) because it has to squeeze a whole megapixel more detail onto a CCD the same size as the one in the s410. Some online have sold the s500 for the s410. The opinion in Canon's forums seems to be .. unless you absolutely need that 5th megapixel, go with the s410... Good luck

Best Buy just got the SD300 in stock here in Portsmouth. I picked one up on the way home from work. This is truly a sweet camera. It's about the size of a credit card and 3/4 of an inch thick. Start-up time, from the moment you press the button until the moment it's ready to go is less than 2 seconds, probably more like 1.5. Recovery time between shots is almost instantaneous. I would be surprised if it weighs half as much as my Powershot S230, which will be available on eBay shortly...
