Thomas Tempelmann's Joliet Volume Access is a freeware replacement for Apple's ISO 9660 File System extension, adding support for Joliet CD and DVD volumes (which accomodate long Windows filenames), plus "faster Sherlock (aka Find File) search, supports Internet Config's file mappings and supports ISO 9660 Level 3 (Apple's does only Level 1 and 2)."

above taken from MacIntouch, today 5/10/00

also today 5/10/00 MacFixit sez: "This extension replaces Apple's ISO 9660 File Access, offering certain advantages even if you do not use Joliet CDs."
