Hi!
Do you remember my memory problem with the Mac LC II? Well, the problem was I have not pairs of memory simms, I have 4MB and 2 MB...
Here's another challenge to us: :-)
When I update from System 7.0.1 to 7.5.3 and then to 7.5.5, diskettes no mount, suddenly.
Do you know why, and what can I do?
Thanks!!!

If you have upgraded to 7.5.5 and lost your floppy mounting capability, check to make sure PC Exchange is in the control panels folder. A regular Mac formatted floppy should still mount but a lot of people just use the PC format disks and don't realize you still need the PC Exchange software to mount them.
If that isn't it, then yu might have a dead floppy drive. The Mac formatted disks do not use a driver so they should mount regardless.
cheers

Thanks, Mac Doctor, but I tried all and... nothing.
Well, "almost all"...
Jeff Woolsey sent me this e-mail, and the little trick is it:
"
Turn on 32 bit addressing in the memory control panel and restart your Mac.
; )
"
Great!
Thanks, Jeff! I publish your answer because I think some people can has the same problem...
