What`s a good maintance schedule for Mac`s (ie:zap pram,rebuild desktop,change the batteries,ect,ect)
Brought to you by the Performa 6320
with 48mb ram and a StarMax 3000/160 with 96mb ram and both on OS 8.1
And of course Netscape 4.79

You can get away without zapping the PRAM if you don't have any problems. Rebuilding the desktop should be done every time you freeze up. Beyond that, I've heard once a month is good. Batteries should only be changed when they go bad. The date/clock not holding it's settings is the big clue that you're ready for a new one.

defrag the Hard drive every 3 months or so. wipe the insides down ever 8 months or so. dust is bad
