Since sometime yesterday, I noticed that my cpu has been running between 80 and 90 percent. This was on my other hd which I just erased since I moved my system to another hd. Yet, it still persist. I'm not doing anything other typing this and downloading Ubuntu.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Open the terminal, type top and paste the result here. And, how about some hardware software specs?

I don't see 80% being used, the most consuming app you have there is iTunes, which I suspect is running.

One tip: you may have more apps runnning that those you got with the top command, take a look using the more GUI nicier Activity Monitor (in your Utilities folder) where you can sort by CPU usage, or use top with the command "top -u" to have it sort by cpu usage.
