Hi I have just bought a imac rev a (I'm a teenager can't afford much) and would be keen to boast it's graphics performance level to that which I can at least run Quake 3. I need one of these cards so if someone has one lying around or can sell me one ripped from a imac they no longer use let me know either in this thread or email me at [email protected] with your offer. Also does anyone know the latest version of mac OS the drivers for Game Wizard support? I can pay by paypal and would be willing to pay for postage from anywhere worldwide.

Thanks.

MMJ

As far as I know the latest os that allows you to use the gamewizard is OS9. I have a 600mhz g3 harmoni 1st gen imac with a rev a mobo and gamewizard and 768 megs ram. Runs osx pretty good, and q3 runs great.

The GameWizard is unsupported under OSX so you just get pass-through with no acceleration. Also, it only accelerates voodoo II savvy games with zero effect on normal 2D display activities. It's benefits are "limited". Overall performance boost would better be achieved with maxxing out the ram and putting in a faster hard-drive. I do have two of them somewhere but opted for putting in a Harmoni and a Griffin iPort rather than the GameWizard.
