As to the title, I think I will get a new MacBook Pro, I am not sure the difference between Glossy hi rez and matte hi-rez, which is better or what are the difference?

Glossy tends to be better for viewing movies and playing games as it brings out colors more and makes them vibrant but it comes with a glare. Matte is better for editing because the colors are purer and not jazzed up by the gloss. You also get less glare. If you're going to do video-editing photo-editing or don't want glare go with matte. Otherwise I'd opt for glossy. (glossy also attracts fingerprints more but you get it with both)

Another matte vote,

Your best bet is to check them out at the apple store. I never liked the over-saturation that the glossy screen produced or the issues with reflections.

It's all about personal preference. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

Go try both of them and pick the one you like.
