How?

I am trying to install a 1 second .wav file into my system alerts....

Open it in QuickTime Player, save it as a System 7 Sound file format. Then, go into the System Folder and find the System suitcase. Double click that to open it, and drag the converted sound file into it. Close the System suitcase, and open the Sound control panel, under Alerts you should be able to pick the new sound.

I don't have quicktime pro �_my regular os9 player doesn't let me save anything

forget it �_i downloaded a os9 alert opposed to an .wav file and just dragged it right into the alerts window and it added it.

os9 is still cool...
