So Chuck Berry is going to be performing at the Virgin Music Festival in Maryland this Summer. Chuck Berry!!!

The biggest problem is the Maryland Summer. My family is from Maryland, and I went to the Virgin Festival last year, so I know exactly what it's like and really have no desire to experience it again (my own personal version of Hell). On top of that regular admission tickets are $175, and VIP tickets (which I got last year for free) are $450.

Ordinarily I'd give just about anything to see a rock legend like Chuck Berry perform, but considering the circumstances I might just be better off waiting for us both to die so I can see him in Hell. The rest of the lineup is cool, but the only other artist I really care about is STP and I'll be seeing them for free at Bumbershoot anyway.

Honestly, I'm really conflicted about this. On the one hand, Chuck Berry. On the other, paying a lot of money to experience the depths of Hell.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Comfort vs. an expensive experience.

I'd go with comfort and maybe a revamp/upgrade of your Chuck Berry music collection.

My stupid iPhone game: Nesen Probe, it's rather old, annoying and pointless, but it's free.
Was free. Now it's gone. Never to be seen again.
Off to join its brother and sister apps that could not
keep up with the ever updating iOS. RIP Nesen Probe.

The real problem, I guess, is that this may very well be my last chance to see him live. He's old enough that I can easily imagine him keeling over on stage at Virgin...
