We have an Apple Mini (first gen) and it will not burn a DVD in iDVD, UNLESS... it's an Apple Brand DVD-R.

Memorex, no-go (spits disk right back out)
Imation, no-go (fails at burn stage after all rendering)
Apple, okay

Does anybody have a clue regarding this issue?

The superdrives in the Minis seem to be a little temperamental. Sometimes some other brand media will work, sometimes it won't.

Only DVD-R disks will work from my experience, but I get sucess with a few brands, not just Apples. So you may have to experiment, as it seems no 2 drives are the same.
