So I am updating my themes for use with SS2, and I am tweaking a LOT of things in them. Anyway, I was hoping to find out how the Jaguar tabs worked. How are the tabs and tab bars pieced together? I mean I assume the end caps go at the ends with the fill stretched between, but the selected tab, is it in the front of the tab bar or behind it, and is it overlapping, or what? A visual aid woul dbe very nice here. I know tabs are not used much in Panther anymore, but some programs still utilize them, especially the small or mini tabs, and I want them to look right.

Also, how exactly to scroll bars and scroll arrows work? How does it know where the scroll bar ends and the arrow begins? As in, I want to make funky shaped scroll bars, so how do I make sure the scroll bar won't cover up the arrow?

Sorry if these are stupid questions. I just need to know. LOL. Most of my theme designing has come from pre-existing ideas such as Classic, so I didn't need to know these things until now. I wanna do something more original.

I also want to add another question to my list. You know the window border (the one pixel gray border around windows, that can be turned on or off using Windowshade X), well, can this color be changed? The gray seems too light for some themes, and I think being able to change this color could be beneficial to themes.
