I'm going to be buying a new PB once Panther comes installed on the machine. My question is: will I be able to install 10.3 on my iMac 800, from the PB's included copy of Panther?
License agreement aside, I don't think it will work. The copy of OS X that comes with the new machine is not (has not been) a copy of the retail installation CD, but specific to the machine purchased.
