Anyone see this on the news this morning? During the Texas Rangers game last night, some dude jumped over the chairs for a foul ball. The dude was pretty harsh, but at least he didn't actually crush the kids. All he did was hit the kid with his leg. Very muched blown up.... Anyways, the kids got lots of free stuff. You can find the story at http://www.dallasnews.com (free subscription).

I watched that game live on FoxSportsMidwest.
That guy was an idiot. He didn't follow one of the first rules of baseball, "When you catch a foul ball and take it away from a kid nearby, you hold it up for the cameras to see, then you give it to the kid later." He was taunting the mom after he dove into their row and got the ball, which he took from between the mom's legs. All the fans booed and mocked him the rest of the game, until he left early. The mom was beating the crap out of him with her program as he treid to get out from underneath her seat.
But that kid did go away with a lotta stuff.....

the same thing happened Sunday too but with a bat I think.
A grown man grabbed a bat from a kid somehow and the kid is sitting on his mom's lap crying. the announcers called him a jerk and a local tv crew interviewed him. the crowd booed him for the entire game.
he's with his girl and he's sitting 2 feet away from the kid. he says he has every right to it but is being stubborn.
but the player catches wind of it and personally gives the kid lots of stuff.
I WANT A FOUL BALL TOO but geez, be a decent human being and give the kids the ball. (if you catch the ball outright with no fumbling, then it is yours to keep unless you willingly give it up)

Maybe I'm either dumb or blind (or both), but I just can't make out what that guy is doing in that picture... Looks like he's trying to steal one of the players' purse or something
So, what is that guy doing in that picture?

Trying to grab a foul ball that a player is trying to catch. It will get you kicked out of most stadiums... oh and booed a lot!

You mean this guy?
He was the goat!
Anyway, the rules are that you can do whatever you want to get the ball, but if you knock anyone down doing it, and they are under 14, you should offer the ball to them.
The guy looked like a jerk and even his girlfriend didn't want to be seen with him.
I hope his coworkers make fun of him.

I bet Alex Gonzalez is really thankful for Bartman because now everyone forgets that he made the critical error that lost the game for the Suckers of Chicago.

Common courtesy out of the window. At least the boy was well taken care of .

Why didn't Chuck Norris beat him up?

No, we still blame this jerk.

What an idiot. This even got on the news out here, despite the fact I have never seen a baseball game in my life.
