Am I an idiot, or is there another way to transfer photos I've taken with the iPhone to a computer besides sending them in e-mails? They don't sync.

iphoto should open automatically and ask you to import them.
if it doesn't you can open it manually and the iphone should be there like any other camera.
another option is to hack the phone and add an application(s) that will help you.

If iPhoto does not open, then try open Image Capture in your Applications folder and see if that works.

I enjoy sending them to flickr. Once you sign up, you're assigned a private email address to which you can send your photos, and they'll appear in your account.
