I was searching for updated drivers for the GeForce4 420 Go. I came across this

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/7334

Does anyone know where to find apple drivers? It seems they rarely out htem out. I am figuring they will have to update it cause of the dvd playback issues.
Thanks

Usually the only updates that come directly from nVidia or ATI are the ones for the cards you buy at stores.

For ones in laptops you will get an update from Apple, most likely updated in a OS update (like 10.2.5?).

Eh, I wish ATI or nVidia would release drivers seperate of what is built into OS X, haven't had very good performance on m GF 420 on my 12" PB running Warcraft 3. Had everything on low and it still ran like a turtle...are there some settings in OS X I'm overlooking?

WC3 runs fine on my 12" G4 with all settings on Max (with 640MB ram), in single player, dunno about MP.
And just to clear things up, once & for all (fat chance) Nvidia does NOT write the drivers for the Nvidia cards in Mac's, APPLE DOES!
Thats why their a bit pants compared to Nvidias PC drivers (which were/are known to be highly optimised and updated very reguarly), and take ages to be updated.
