Shouldnt there be mention that this is a port in the initial post or the splash? Original credit is pretty important around here.

Congtratulations on the completion, I know you've been working on this for awhile. I really like your ATD.

I could have sworn I read where he credited Stefanka, but you're right, there's no credit line up there or anywhere within the DL package.

I have to say this is very nice. Good Job!! Except for the big Finder/Safari icons. I'm glad I don't use Safari or else I'd go nuts.

Very well done and truly a theme that is easy on the eyes. Even if it is a port, making it look good on the mac is a job well done.

Very spiffy. Any chance of modifying the icon set so that they're blue rather than black (note: I haven't actually checked the icon set yet so I may be confused)? It seems like they'd match the rest of the theme better that way...

This is theme I've been waiting for, but I think that back/foward icons are a little jagged

Agreed. Also, the buttons next to the back/forward (column view, etc.) ones are very inconsistant with the theme. Perhaps make them glossy green... more like the highlight in the drop down menus.

The blue background in the left drawer where hard drives/CDs etc are listed is pretty harsh... Aside from that, I dig it...

very nice Makki!

but i still can't see it in the download tab? i just cheched a few minutes ago... and the latest theme there is still Gershwerx?

but i've got it anyway, so thanks again.

edit>>>

i see that Inspiriat is now in the SS download tab. they must have had a bit of a mix up before... Gershwerx was coming up first with Blueprint after it... but it looks like everything is back to normal now.

edit #2 >>>

Makki - i saw a screenshot of this somewhere.. with a Royale matching Adium contact list style. i'm wondering where you got that from? i thought it might be included in the .guikit but i don't seem to have it? where can i find it please please please.

Hrmmm... That sounds like a great idea... I'll put some on my web server. I'll make some more just so that there is enough to constitute a gallery to choose from. (???)

OK, here are a few. These images are based on some other images that I saw made for the WinTel version of Royal. What I have noticed is that most of the Royal desktops are of nature.
All of these images were created / edited by me, I even took the photos

Anyway... The link:
Ryan Clark Design Desktops

Let me know what you think. All of them are at 1280 x 1024. If you need a smaller resolution, feel free to resize them. If these are something that people like, I can post the psd and people can sub out the base image and put the glass thingy in their own images. There is a little bit more that has to happen for the image to look right, but I can explain that too, if needed.

nice walls G0Ducks. i was wondering what sort of glass effect you would have... that's a nice one. but i'm not so sure about those pics... i think some more virbrant pics, like the included "grass" wallpaper would suit Inspiriat better...

YES! I totally agree. I just dug up some ol' stock photos that I took a long time ago.
Use the same link as above for the template. If it isn't there yet, give it some time, I am on dial-up

Thanks for the template and all your effort.

Just a little update to what is going on with this theme now....

I am currently working on V 2 which is going to have a nicer more smooth look.
Titlebar widgets already redone and awesome imho
Finder toolbar buttons and Safari Buttons all brand new

No eta yet so pls dont bombard me with asking that question.

Ciao 4 now

I found a screenshot that Stefanka posted. When you go to do the updates, please fix these:
1. The window corners in the current version are smooshed or something (at least for the windows in certain apps. i.e. Preview). The ones from the actual theme are nice and round(Like the finder windows that you have now.)

2. The scrollbars appear to be a bit different. Less XP-ish and more Royal Inspiriat-ish.

3. Please, if you change the window widgets, make them more like the original theme. No glassy buttons or anything Actually, the ones you have now are pretty nice!

4. Include those beautiful icons that are glassy and "on their side." YOu know, the ones that are in that schweet screenshot you did in the in the screenshots thread. (With the modded theme that you can't release)

5. Keep up the good work!

GODucks, thanks for the template. Stuff like this is what makes this forum great -- I've learned more from folks who've kindly posted things like this (here & in other forums) than I ever have from a Photoshop manual. I have to see it in action to understand it, I guess.

And Makki, this theme has potential all over it -- I like it already but the tweaks you're mentioning make it sound even better. Thanks much for your work!
