I fear none of your choices. Some merit attention and/or concern, but fear? No.

Maybe if you should have been a bit less inflammatory and made the thread title "which concerns you most?"

I fear gay, atheist, liberal, terrorist, Mexicans who are here illegally. I know there's probably just 10-20 of them, based on statistics, but there's no telling where they could be! ZOMG! CALL THE NSA!

I don't fear any of those things.

Giant, 40-foot spiders — that I'm afraid of.

Holy crap, dude. Don't get people posting images of spiders.
I need to spend today working, not cowering under my desk
because I looked at pictures of creepy spiders. That image of
the giant sand scorpions that got posted and discussed a couple
years ago still has me creeped out.

If I were an American, I'd be worried about clowns. And taxes. Clowns and taxes. Yes, that's it.

Bingo. It's the clowns that Americans fear the most. Taxes are a close second.

I don't generally agree with Mr. Dobbs on politics. But there is one thing we apparently do agree on: there are more important things for the Senate to worry about than gay marriage right now, and the fact that the President is worrying about it, and the Senate is taking it up, means they're more concerned with the re-election of Congress than with debating issues that are important.

As for me, personally, I'm most worried about Yankee Fans. Do you realize that there are 5-year-old Yankee fans who have not seen their baseball team win the world championship in their lifetime? If this keeps up, there's no telling what they might do when they're 12!

Well, I've never seen one, but I'd like to.

I had 5" tarantula in my hand once though. It was very friendly... until loud obnoxious tourists walked by. When they approached, the spider crouched down as if to hide itself, and only stretched out again when the loud obnoxious tourists walked away.

And yes those tourists were American. OK, OK, there were many loud obnoxious tourists from many countries, but the spider chose to be scared of the American ones.

I'll post a picture later if anyone objects to the above post.

Well that's good.

At any rate Atheists are America’s most distrusted minority, Yup they even ranked lower than gays and terrorists.

Perhaps the Constitution also needs an amendment on banning Atheists.

I went with atheists.

I think everyone needs to believe in something...anything. You don't have to tell anyone or report in to religion police, but even believing in yourself...well that's something.

If not, you scare me.
Please keep in mind the ambiguously selective general understandings we've all agreed upon...

I fear religious extremists in the guise of politcal conservatives. I don't fear terrorists; I loathe them. I can honestly say that I've never in my life "feared" a gay person. My political views are a nice mix of what people label as liberal, conservative and libertarian (I like messing with people's minds that way), so I don't fear either liberals or conservatives-and you simply have to watch libertarians .

Hey Dork.! What do you say when you have one of those dolls that has a pull ring on his back? Extra points if you can say it in the character's voice!

I fear absolutism.

I fear, regarding ALL issues, that the FAR left, and the FAR right are driving the middle ground to one side or the other.

Regarding Gay Marriage:
- Can't we make a first step that acknowledges "civil unions" between two men or two women? I think it would be a wonderful first step in resolving this issue.

Whoo whoo! Gays are now on the fear same level as terrorists!!!

Who knew we were so intimidating despite having never killed thousands of people in cowardly acts.

Perhaps we are not intimidating as much as everyone else is cowardly.

Yeah the only thing that concerns me is economic stability. It seems to me (this is my opinion) as if our population will actually begin to naturally decrease within 50 years leading to a recession based economy instead of growth based. That could mean serious trouble.

This poll was clearly made to irritate conservatives. Why didn't you include "non-liberals," "Bible thumping Christians," and "pro-lifers" in the poll?
