This is seriously annoying. As you guy might know by now... Autodesk baught out Alias. And Autodesk isnt exactly the best supporters of the Mac platform. I baught an intl iMac 2 months ago, with full knowledge that Maya wasnt universal, so ive been running Maya 6 on my 550Mhz PowerBook thus far. It's really annoying that there has been no word AT ALL (that im aware of anyway), of Maya (7/8) running on intel Macs natively.

Do any of you guys know anything about Maya on intel Macs ? And there is no way in heck ill be installing Windows on my Mac at all.

Cheers

It might still run faster on your intel Mac. Apparently Photoshop ran as well as it did on a 1Ghz G4 on 2Ghz intel Macs.

Any updates on this? As many platforms as they support you'd figure they could do crank out a unibin patch in short notice.
