I think he was referring to IE on the Mac.

erik: 8/10. It is very well done, but I sort of prefer cleaner, less cluttered images.

IE for the mac has excellent PNG support and has had it for years.

8.5/10. It's yummy, but with that style you could have gone for even less clutter and dropped the drop shadows on that devil.

IE on OSX, that I used to use would often balk at png images and ask me which application to use for them, but with Safari this is not a problem in any case.

No no. You confuse links to images with inline images. Inline images have never been a problem since IE 5.

Nice and minimal, and a great use of a .png.

9/10

Let's me do a quick thread-scan identification, but the bg is something you'll likely change and I can't trust you'll use it consistantly -- so missed out on full points.

Edit: Later.

Once again in my face, the thread ignores the basic premise "rate the sig in the post above yours" and no one says a thing about my sig. I guess I'll trudge back over into oblivion, muttering about how I hate lil baby kitten and my co-workers won't understand and dis-invite me to the xmas party because they'll think I'm a kitten-killing psycho.

Who is 'Schneider' - definitely not
'Scheider' as in Roy...

I heart Scheider - don't think so !

8/10 for the funny face.

It's ok. He actually quite a friendly little devil. Just a mite touchy at times, but that comes with the territory, so to speak.

Benign: 6/10. I'm sorry that I don't give it more but I feel that the basic idea, which is good IMO, got lost a bit in the excecution. I like the idea of a pastel stylised US flag, but that the font is somehow really not fitting. I dunno, sorry.

It's a spontaneous design signifying nothing
but a love of good design which catches the
eye and a wry smile - no flag waving here.
I'd give your SIG 4/10 because Beelzebub is
so badly drawn it makes you look like a
creative imbecile.

Switzle-me :)

The only flaw in this thread (someone may have already mentioned it, but I've only just opened it up to the last page)
Is that you can't look at the sig in the reply window.

I like the colors and simplicity of Benign's sig.
though I admit I didn't read the "B" as B right away.

I give it an 8 out of 10.

Ive got myself a sig too thanks to my wonderful Erik

But he didnt show it to me before he posted it here, so I guess he assumed I like it. Well, I kinda do, but theres something about having a pic of yourself in the sig. I usually dont give away pics if its not really necessary. I like to think that Im anonymous on the internet....

I give you an 8/10 for that one Veronica. We often personalizes other members through the sigs, although we usually don't really know them. You shouldn't worry to much about having a little personal touch on your sig in a place like this. I find it positive. Mac users are rare, and MacNN'ers are even more rare. No chance the the next person browsing here is your next door neighbor. Welcome on board.

You bet, if you consider Troms as in your neighborhood. But seriously I can count the active norwegian members on one hand, thought there are also a few lurkers here.

Thanks 11011001. It's one of the robots from the Macross series.
I'll rate you an 8/10 as well. It fits your nick very well. Kind of a Matrix feeling over it with a twist.
