When might themes arrive since Panther is so near to being released? Or when might a program like ThemeFur allow us to take Jaguar themes and turn them into Panther themes.

I'm hard at work on an auto-updater to transition existing themes to Panth relatively seamlessly. Dunno if it'll be done before Panther is released, but it'll be out as soon as humanly possible.

Are the differences between the rsrc files in Jaguar and Panther that significant?

You can apply a Jaguar Extras.rsrc, but I would not recommend it as you end up with a lot of missing resources. Wait for smeger to release his auto updater.

Ya you can use ThemeFur with Jag to Panther themes, but you do end-up with a few small missing resources. The biggest problem I had was text color with dark themes. But SS Studio Pro Swizcore Style looks quite good on Panther.

Anyone know if Theme Changer supports Panther just now? Any little anomalies popping up?

Well, they're pretty significant in terms of widgets having new states and sizes and stuff like that. It's not really hard to convert the stuff, it's just tedious. So my spiffy updater will automate the process so that theme designers don't need to invest 4.2 billion hours to update each theme.

Thanks guys, but as I said, it's not really hard to write this thing, it's just freakin' tedious and makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a hot, pointy stick.

Every widget has a new "mini" size (very very small). Windows have a new inactive state for the frontmost app (inactive window in frontmost apps can look different from other inactive windows). The tabs, of course. Hmmmmm, what else?

I think that's it. All I can think of offhand, anyway.
