The first DVD in put into my new iMac was the "Bugs Life" disc which came with the computer. When I try to eject it, it barely sticks out and then gets sucked back in or sometimes it tries to come out but obviously gets stuck and never even "peeks" out at all. I then tried several other DVDs and some CDs that I own 9 out of 10 of them worked fine, but another one got stuck too. Has this happend to anyone else? Should I return the unit? Is there a way to manually pluck out a disc that gets stuck? Please advise. Thanks, Jeff

If there's something wrong with your iMac DVSE

it's just bad luck, why else would you be posting to this forum?

just take it back and get a replacement

The exact same thing happened to me. Take it back and have them put in a new DVD drive. I did, and I haven't had any problems since.
