From what I've heard (and judging on star ratings):
The racing games are excellent.
Most of the iPad board games are very good.
Mirror's Edge is a good Canabalt ripoff.
iPad C&C is good enough to be worth a dollar.
The trend is "first tier IP isn't bad".

I bought Mirror's Edge. I don't see how people can say it's like Canabalt since you can actually stop and turn around (and attack bad guys)! I'm really enjoying it.

How is Tetris?
I've been avoiding it because using a soft keypad seems... wrong.

Tetris is OK.
Reckless Racing HD (iPad) is fun.
A pity 'Monopoly for iPad' is still 7,99€

Yeah. That's a drag. Scrabble is really good.
But I'll be damned if I pay 10 whole dollars for it. That's like, two whole hot chocolates!
Edit: reading that, it comes off as a slam. It's not. I honestly can't bring myself to drop the $10.

Risk is excellent (much better, imo, then Lux for iPhone). My only complaint is that sitting through some of the animations is more time consuming than it needs to be.
The only other one that I have is Wolfenstein. It's...awesome, which is to say that it's Wolfenstein!

Based on the thread title plus the way the original post looked, I was sure this was a spam thread and was really close to reporting it before I scrolled down and noticed it was legit.

It took some getting used to-and I'm way out of practice-but it was pretty good IMO. Definitely worth 99¢.

Okay... But if it's no good I'm coming to San Antonio for my quarter hot chocolate.
Oooh, wait. Texas. Make that a quarter Jamba Juice. Strawberry Surfrider please.

Scrabble is buggy as hell. It's cool to pass back and forth, but the wireless app part of it doesn't work. Just plain doesn't work.
The dictionary in Scrabble is NOT the standard - it takes all kinds of abbreviations and slang, etc. If you're a stickler for accuracy, it takes some getting used to.
Plus, my wife and I paid $9.99 apiece for it. Now it's 99 cents. Wow, what a feeling!
I hate EA.

Another thing about Scrabble (I'm using the free version): why will it not stay logged in to Facebook, or at least log in automatically when I start the app? Every time I start it, I can't see my games (trying to update by pulling down at the top) until I go into the settings, and tap Log in. It then logs in and I can play. This is stupid.
