I did notice that Jobs said "boom" numerous times. It also sounded like he had a heavy lisp... but that could have been the audio.

I've always thought Jobs saying "boom" was kind of like a taunt. When I hear "boom" I think of bombs. When I think of bombs, I think of the System 7 sad Mac on startup. When I think of that, I think of kernel panics. So I think Jobs is basically toying with OS X like, "Come on, try and crash on me. Do it. Do it now! Kill me I'm here! Come on!" Except the ending to that sounds more like Governator than anyone else.

I watched the keynote and only remember hearing "boom" once.
He said "Incredible", "amazing", "awsome", etc. and numerous other interjections throughout his presentation.

In the first half I counted at least 10 booms. A few highlights:

Truly Great Work!
Though Steve has still been easily 'outboomed' by Basil; possibly the most aggravating fakefur creation ever exposed on children's TV. Every puerile 'joke' made on his camp show was followed by an inevitable "Boom Boom" I understand the record number ever recorded within one 30min. show was 126.
BOOM BOOM

I don't know, I only listened for 1 second, started to blink rapidly, giggled like a girlie & agreed with my doppleganger boyfriend.

That was fantastic. Remember, I said I only "remember" one boom. I guess I hadn't been paying attention much. I've been outboomed.

Interesting, but I don't think that's the intent behind SJ's exclamation. The connotation behind it is "it's that fast - boom" raid fire, one after another boom, boom, boom.

So then shouldn't it be "bang.. bang. bang bang bangggg"? To me bang suggests something even faster than boom. Boom seems like a slow grenade launcher or something.
Did anyone else notice how many times he said "mere mortals" when referring to Mac OS X user interface? I think someone has a little bit of a God complex

You should have those problems looked into. In the meantime, I have to add something to my ignore list...

If you have permission couldn't you host whatever you wanted instead of using the same sig?
