In preparation for the new 20GB hard drive on my Pismo, I moved all files, preferences, apps, etc. onto a firewire drive. Installed the hard drive successfully, moved everything back and now am finding such quirky Photoshop 5.5 issues are:

1. will not let me 'save for the web' - nothing happens at all.
2. won't let me jump to Image Ready

Any thoughts?
Please help.
Thanks.

Did you copy over ImageReady and all its support files as well?

A member had a similar problem in this thread.

I was able to add an alias for Photoshop 5.5 to the 'jump to' folder I discovered within PS's myriad of folders. So I can jump now to ImageReady but can't do so in return.

Any thoughts here?
Thanks.

Do you have an alias of ImagerReady in the "Jump To Graphics Editor" folder?

Would it not have been easier to re-install Photoshop 5.5 followed by copying your preferences across?

You may want to check to see if you have the "Save for Web" plug-in in the "Import/Export" folder of the "Adobe Photoshop Only" in the "Plug-Ins" folder.
