Sorry if this is maybe in bad taste to the current forum, but the AI boards seem to be coming back up. Although it didn't work for me at last attempt.

AI junkies rejoice. Truly crazy speculation is back.

And they're down again...

But, I'm spreading the word: ThunderPoit (I think) is going to be giving a play-by-play of the keynote in AI Chat.

I had it up all morning anf up until about 30 minutes ago, but now it is down due to server overloads. Weren't they down for like a week here recently becasue they were moving to a better server? Looks like they didn't do too good a job upgrading.

The previous one-week downtime was unrelated to a server change (which is still scheduled for the future).

Wow what a shock! AI's boards are down just before a MW keynote...

... so, is this a case of Apple Legal flexing its muscles?

or perhaps a case of AppleInsider protecting its ASSets?

For those interested: I am now managing to post on the Appleinsider Forum... but only in a limited way.

I connot post a new topic or thread. I can however respond to previous threads either by knowing the previous thread's url or by using the search function to do a blanket search of all messages in a particular forum for say yesterday's posts.

It is however a royal pain in the deriere.
