Ibook G4 - Restart Issue - Pls Help Me

Whenever i switch on my Ibookg4 poweer button, after few seconds in the display i get an message as
" you need to restart your computer,to do this press the power button for long time or press the restart button"
PLS help Me

If you still have your hardware test CD, try to boot your machine with it. If it checks out fine then boot of the OS X install disk and try to repair permissions on your hard disk. Hopefully that should fix your problem if not you could try archive and install.

Do a Archive & Install, it looks like OS X got screwed up. That message is a kernel panic, a O X equivalent of a crash on Windows.

but even after installing , the same message appears when i reboot my apple after ejecting the OD disk.. what to do in this case
