I updated my MacBook Pro's Super Drive firmware via Apple's software update some time back and now every time I boot the laptop I see the same message:

"No Updatable Devices Found
No devices were found that require this firmware update."

Is there any way to stop this from coming up every time I boot the laptop?

I think you would find the update application in

System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items

delete it and that should do it.

That fixed my problem. Thanks.

Why was it set to run at login though? I would have thought it would run once during the inital installation process and then remove itself.
