Hey folks, I've been googling but can't find anything... For iPhone yahoo released some design templates with interface items that made mockups much easier.

Anyone know of something similar for iPad? I can probably reuse some of the iPhone stuff but just checking.

And yes, I'm not sure if this belongs in here or in Design. I'll move it if need be!

In case anyone else is interested, found something:

iPad GUI PSD Design Template | Teehan+Lax
comments say there are some roughness issues, but good for a start.

And Balsamiq has some stuff too:

You can also download the OS 4 SDK beta, which I think has iPad support. Then just use the Interface Builder to make some mock ups.

Thanks, but it seems you need Snow Leopard to run the new SDK. Bummer.

Balsamiq is a little buggy, but it's good for getting ideas out and not letting folks be bogged down by what color the buttons are.

There's this old school method:

iPhone and iPad Design Template Sketchbook | iPad Sketchbook

Involves something called "pen and paper." Going to have to look those terms up.

Hmm, I don't think that's compatible with our system either.

Have you installed Apple's iPad/iPhone simulator?

You need snow leopard for that, as far as I can tell.

What's wrong with Snow Leopard?

Absolutely nothing, except my work will not be installing it for, oh, a year and a half. Rough guess.
