i just got a new macbook and i hooked up my old altec lancings to them and every now n then it'll pop. like..i'll be typing away on msn and for some reason my spears will pop...quite annoying, anyone have an idea why?

Go into the Apple menu --> Software update

An audio update has been made available yesterday (would have shown up on your machine automatically within a week by default) that corrects a bug introduced with 10.4.10.

i just tried the update but it till gives that annoying pop, it only happens when i have itunes open but paused, does anyone have a different solution?
