Hi,

I would like to upgrade the ram on my mid-2009 13" Macbook Pro. I currently have 2GB ram and would like to add up to 8 gb. Does anyone have a suggestions for RAM? I've narrowed down my search to these two,

The first one won't fit, that is a full-size DIMM for desktop computers. The second one will work, though not at its rated speed (as the MBP can't keep up with that speed).
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Thanks! Good eye. What do you suggest?

The one you linked will be fine, I'm just mentioning it so you don't expect a higher speed than you will get.

I find my ram at macsales dot com. Web site is easy to navigate and you can find your ram by just clicking on the model of your computer. This site is geared for macs.

Crucial will also find the correct items for your particular machine. I've shopped for the RAM on Crucial's site, then searched for that part number through web searches to find the best price.
