ADVC-100 suitable for audio?

	I was considering buying an ADVC-100 for recording video from tapes onto my hard drive. I also need to be able to input audio for some amateur music making. I was going to buy an iMic for this but would the ADVC-100 do the job as good? It can import audio with a sampling frequency of 48kHz/16bit/2ch according to this page: http://www.clubmac.com/clubmac/shop/...sp?dpno=973572 Would I be able to hit two birds with the one stone if I buy this?
	Stuff is great, never take it for granted.
