Hi, I have been having problems with inputting audio into protools since I got it. Most of the time i can get okay sound off it, but when I have 7 or 8 tracks recorded and I play them the track sounds like its clipping every so often, but the tracks which the clipping seems to come from sounds okay when played on its own. Its as if all the tracks combined make a volume great enough for clipping to happen but the tracks individually dont clip (except for one, but only rarely). I've tried using the compressor plugin to stop this but it doesn't work.
Does anyone have a solution to this?

Regards
Ross
