About two weeks ago, every now and then my dock would randomly start freezing. Just now it happened again, all i am doing is surfing the web. Expos, cmd-tab, minimizing windows are all not working. When i force quit the dock through terminal or activity viewer, it just starts up again, still stuck.

The only solution i have is to move dock.app out of the CoreServices folder, force quit it, restart, move it back into the CoreServices folder, restart -- then I'm good for another day or maybe less. I would rather not go through the hassle of reinstalling the whole system. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Have you tried deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist?
