My MacBook came today(yay) just in time for a road trip next week.

Gonna buy a inverter to DC to AC, and theres NO way im shelling out 60 bucks for the magsafe blahblah adapter which is 60 bucks. LOL.

Amazon, they have them for like 10-20 bucks, do i need a specific volt or will the normal adapter automatically just take whats needed?

Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more

search dc to ac, youll find some results, maybe you can find something you want. Tell me if you do.

There is no Magsafe adapter for cars, so I'm not sure what you're referring to for $60.

Any inverter rated for 100W or more should be fine, like this well-reviewed 150W unit for $28 at Newegg.

You don't need a new magsafe. Just plug the regular one into the inverter, which is plugged into the car.
