i dont know how many of you are myspacers.. but if you are, add http://www.myspace.com/myspacebathroom to your friend list.. and post funny or potty or any kind of picture you want before the mods take it down...

on a side note.. what does everyone think of myspace? personally i think it's a way for big brother to spy on all of us and know who we associate with

I would have to disagree. Though I meet my girlfriend through one of my roomates, thanks to myspace I was able get her number and have spent 7 months happily with her at this point.

I kind of see what you're getting at, but Myspace worked for me, so I'll do nothing but praise it.

Ya well aside from it being overrated. Ugly as sin (background music and video's loading on every page?!) my sister met someone on there that assaulted her. He actually updated his account from the jail we put him in to find more victims.

So you can imagine why I am not a fan of it.

Myspace started out being populated mostly by teenage internet kiddos, but it's since been adopted by a wider demographic and is actually not that bad anymore.

I use myspace to keep in contact with friends I have all over the country. Works well for what I use it for.

All of my friends are now using myspace. I still don't understand the appeal. I really just don't get it. Does that mean I'm old?

I prefer facebook over myspace. There aren't any fake/celebrity accounts to dirty it up because it requires a .edu email account to sign up. And it's MUCH cleaner, very few ads, well laid out. I like it.

I tell my friends to make their myspace pages tasteful or I'll be forced to view them as internet-retarded. It seems to work.

(side by side 700 pixel wide images on a page counts as retarded, btw. As does having 3 different "auto-loading" sources of music/video)

MySpace is GeoCities but with a wider, worser audience. I.e., not all of GeoCities was awful, and I'm sure a profile or two of M.S. is less-than-horrid, but still: the majority makes the rule, and why bother?

myspace is a good place for meeting old and lost friends, however it needs to be used in moderation.. in my group of friends im the *only* person not to have a myspace (literally) and the sad thing is people become addicted and obsessed with it... the same people who brag about not having a tv (people w/o tv's are always very anxious to let you know about it) are the people who spend 5 hours a day on myspace.. it slowly sucks people in until they are hermits, myspace junkie's looking for their next internet fix..... im not saying this happens to EVERYONE that uses myspace, i do believe there are people that can use myspace in moderation - i just dont know any of them... it's gotten to the point where i cant contact my friends because i cant leave a "comment" on the myspace page.......
