I just called my local compusa asking about a 12" powerbook, and the guy tells me they have a couple in stock. I then mention the apple expo tomorrow, and the rumor of new powerbooks, he says the 12 and 17 aren't getting updated, just the 15 to the new aluminum enclosure. Take it like you will anything else from CompUSA.

He probably meant the 12 and 17 won't be getting an enclosure update, just the 15 since it's the only non-Al in the lineup. You can rest assured that all models will be receiving feature updates though. It has been over 8 months since the last rev. There is zero chance any of the current models will remain.

It would be nuts not to upgrade the 12 and the 17.
The whole lineup would go to hell.
OK-so everybody is waiting for the Alu 15-but a lot of buyers wait for the others as well because there are still some issues unresolved (heat in the 12, sizzle in the 17).

Have faith!!

Why don't you guys get a grip? Do you think that they know what new products are coming? Apple doesn't tell them!
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?
