OK, im not actually forming a band. Sorry. Always wanted to start a thread titled like that.
What I am doing is remixing an album.
Somehow.
So I don't actually know how you'd do that. I have the two albums, I want to combine and remix them.
What software would I use to do that? Any advice?

You mean a "mash up"?

Can't you just use Garage Band for that?

I think for the remix, you are not using the commercial (read: radio) edits of the albums, but some special versions they put our for DJs.

Anyone know more ?

Logic, instrumental and acapella versions of the songs you want to combine. Depending on what you are going for, you might cut up bits and pieces of them and recombine them to form the base of what you want.

Remixing an album, is that like the guy that traces comics?
