So I'm watching my local news here, and the reporter is talking about "Michael Moore will be buried at so and so etc."

I almost fell off my chair, because I thought it was the despicable Michael Moore.

Turns out, it was a sad story though. It was some other Michael Moore, a little kid who got hit by some drunk driving, murdering moron.

True story BTW - it was on NY1

Sorry, I sincerly apologize to all of those which I have disappointed.

It was weird though, the kid's name was spelled exactly the same. What was god thinking ? Maybe he pulled the wrong Moore out of his hat by accident.

All you people are wishing death on someone just because he did a documentary on your country that was negative? Funny thing is none of you can personally disprove any of it just point to website that claim to know the "truth".

This cracks me up. I love it that you have this Christian pretex you live under, yet you would hope Michael Moore was dead. Wishing or hoping someone was dead isn't very Christ-like.

Big surprise. I bet he would also have sex before marriage (given the chance), lies, and eats fish on Fridays.

Maybe his parents were fans of Moore's early days in 1986 when he was good, playing local clubs where 16 people went to see him, and telling people about the Mayor and how much milk really costs. After that he went all commercial and sold out and... oh, hang on, that's what you say when bands split up, silly me.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

I wouldn't wish death upon him. Maybe a smack in the face and to be spat upon for being a seditious bastard. He's a Bolshevik, but he can live. Just watch out for those twoferones at the Golden Coral.

I thought Catholics & Anglicans were supposed to eat fish on Friday becuse they weren't allowed to eat red meat on that day?

And hey, did you hear Wendy's is going to resurrect Dave Thomas's ads?

How sad that someone to dying would make you feel happy. Whether you like the guy or not, he hasn't done anything evil. To feel joy in his death would be pathetic.

I know you are kidding, but really - death?

Not true at all. You are manipulating facts (lying), just like Moore likes to do. Not 100% of the people who voted for Kerry like Moore. As a matter of fact many democrats despise the man. The figure is probably closer to 10%.

Well you are pulling figures out of your ass too, but I voted for Kerry and happen to think Moore's stuff is pretty much BS, although I find it entertaining.

By BS I don't mean it's all lies, but it certainly strikes me as really, really stretching the truth in some spots, showing only part of the truth in others, and finally some objective truth mixed in. It's really, really partisan.

And I'm really shocked at some of you for "having your hopes up" over it being the Moore this thread is turning out to be about. Sorry but even some partisan hack doesn't deserve death just for seeing the world differently.

If not, then I would say there's no such thing as a documentary. Moore just didn't pretend to not have an opinion. I don't think there's such thing as a completely objective documentary.

you're right, there isn't.

michael moore just used a specific genre and medium to communicate his view of things.

Are are a little slow (or retarded). I did include a smiley wink at the end and I hardly think I would say everyone who voted for Kerry would like Moore.

Duh.

That's a completely valid point. But I do think there is such a thing as a completely objective documentary, it's just that they don't sell very well. And as such, they aren't produced often enough, if at all.

So did Leni Riefenstahl. The similarities are striking.

What the hell is a jesuslander ?

If you're referring to that ridiculous map that certain fools have been posting on the net where all the Red states are labelled as Jesusland, then I regret to inform you that I live in a Blue state.

Some guy was killed today. I thought it was you.

Ok, the least you could do is go whip yourself for Michael Moore's sins.

Any good right wing religious person would do that.
