I'm not familiar with fruity loops, but a great production program for Mac is Reason. It's a virtual rack of midi instruments, effects and a mixer. You can make some really ill music with it. Check out M-Audio for info.

i think if you're going to check out the M-audio site, check out Ableton Live 3. seems like you want something easy to use, with loops and junk. Reason might be a little too much for you.
