When my iBook boots up, and you get the window with the progress bar loading different things in, it only gets halfway then closes. It then boots into the desktop as normal.
Everything works fine on the computer, so its probably nothing to worry about.
The progress stops at Network Initialization.
Any ideas why the bar isnt going all the way?
Thanks.

Well I just restarted my computer and my bar got about...hmmm...a 1/2 of an inch away or so before it disappeared. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Are you connected to a network when this happens?
The system is trying to find a network to connect to. When the loginwindow appears the system is essentially saying, "screw this." It will continue to look for a network in the background before leaving it to you to figure things out.
