Dude, that is both awesome and sucks. It is interesting that the confidentiality paper that you had to sign said "Apple Computer Inc." instead of just "Apple Inc."

The NDA was sent from Moxie Productions on behalf of Apple Inc. They probably have not updated their documents yet... Good eyes though... I had not noticed that.

That sucks so bad. Maybe you should agree to do it for free while you apply for work authorization.

Wow that is a shame you didn't get the part. Well you sort of got it, but you lost it due to a technicality. So you did get the part.

Hopefully you'll get something better in the future. Good luck.

BTW, what's with the hair? Is that a new style?

You do have intense eyes. You'd be good for Sci-fi or horror movies. Sort of like the guy in Silent Running.

Thanks for the compliments

Yah, I console myself by saying that something better will pop-up. It's actually not the first time that I was "discovered" on the street, but was unable to do the job because of some technicality. Good news though... A green-card is in the works for me in the near future, so next time this happens I'll be prepared! ha!

It's not a new hairstyle for me... I was born with it like that. It's all thanks to my Mother's side of the family. I have a rather unique and intense pedigree (genetically speaking). You know what though? I have always wanted regular straight hair. I'm quite limited in what hairstyles I can have - and no, straightening it is not really an option

Hello,

You signed the NDA, and are now disclosing, in violation of the NDA? I get that you didn't perform the job, but I don't know that this fact invalidates the NDA you signed.

Is the NDA actually covered by NDA?

Doubtful. I have disclosed nothing that is not already public knowledge. It's obvious that Apple would be producing a new commercial for the iPhone. I have given zero details about the nature of the commercials content. I simply stated that I was cast in said commercial and was unable to perform in it due to my lack of a green-card.

Publicizing the terms of an NDA is also fine - as I could have chosen to not sign it. In such a case they would have made the terms of the NDA public by showing it to me. If Apple legal contacts me to remove the image of their NDA I will gladly comply.

Two friends of mine were nabbed in this exact same way wandering around chicago. Contacted by Moxie productions, had to sign the NDA, were supposed to fly to NYC for a couple days, etc. This was just last week.
