Hi, I just bought a new Imac DV model and I had a question. After I am done using AppleWorks, there are two new folder icons on my desktop. One says "Auto Save" and the other says "Starting Points". Does anyone know what these are for? By the way, I have AppleWorks 6, if that makes a difference.

I've got a feeling those are meant to disappear... did you crash while using AW6?
Dunno what the starting points thing is, but AppleWorks 6 automatically saves your documents at variable intervals... the saves go into the 'auto saves' folder.
I have AW6, but not installed, so maybe someone with it installed can clear it up...
I'd imagine the folders should disappear unless there is a crash.

A crash?? That sounds a little serious!! They haven't dissapeared, I have thrown them away before but as soon as I open up AppleWorks they appear again...

Move the folders to the same location as the AppleWorks application...
