My control strip won't "come out". I can see the little tag on my desktop, but when I click on it, the strip does not show itself. Can anybody out there help me?

It might just be a glitch. For starters you should try trashing your "Control Strip Preferences" and restarting. You might then need to open the Control Strip Control Panel to launch the strip again.
Hope this does the trick.

Try deleting your control strip preferences (System Folder -> Preferences -> Control Strip Preferences) and restart. That should clear it up.

Ruth, you could try dragging your Control Strip Preferences to the Trash (from System/Preferences) then Restart. You might have to then open the Control Strip Control Panel to turn it on again.
