Which browser do you use if your favorite doesn't display a page right? Or if something else happens. I didn't include iCab and Opera because they tend to be more finicky at viewing pages, the main reason to use a "second-best" browser.
Trainiable is to cat as ability to live without food is to human.

When I run into a web site that does not appear to render correctly with Safari I try the following browsers in this order...

1- Mozilla - completely different standards based rendering engine (GECKO)
2- IE:mac - sometimes works better with IE centric web sites
3- IE via VPC - what the other 95% use

If none of he above work, I just move on.

Note I don't try OmniWeb or Camino because they use the same rendering engines as Safari and Mozilla respectively.

Used to be Camino, but recently I've switched over to Firebird w/ the Pinstripe theme. Boy that browser is fast.

I use the Webcore version of Omniweb. If it can't display a page and someone put a gun to my head and said, "Pick a browser that will show this page correctly" I would take Internet Explorer.

The reason is that if it is a standards-compliant page, Omniweb would have done reasonably well with it. If it's not, then it means IE is my last best hope.

That doesn't really make IE the second-best browser. I think Safari is the second best browser, but it won't do me any good if Omniweb isn't rendering properly.
