Wow.

I did an archive and install a week ago or so and haven't used my printer 'til today, hence why I had to reinstall the driver. Well, it went through everything, finished, and then I went to open the Terminal (from TigerLaunch). It wouldn't let me. I tried again to no avail. So I opened my apps folder, when into Utilities, and-- where was everything? The only app in it was an alias to the HP Printer Selector. I tried opening the AirPort Admin Utility from TigerLaunch (it doesn't automatically update as programs are added, deleted, etc.) and it wouldn't open either. Did the HP installer frag my Utilities folder? If so, is there any easy way to get it off the installation CD?

Dude, Hp's are famous for horrible printer drivers on a Mac.

Best to get rid of it and get a Canon.
