Man, I had a killer headache all night too. Wouldn't go away no matter how much beer I threw at it. Eventually ended up leaving the bar and going to bed early. Still had it when I woke up this morning.
One Red Bull, and it was completely gone...

Alcohol aggravates a headache, esp. wine.
Caffeine soothes headaches. Drink some coffee, or some soda, or something else. Or take an advil.

Actually I find that whisky or vodka will usually kill a headache for me, at least temporarily. But yeah, caffeine is definitely better.

I know wine can aggravate or even cause migraines in people, maybe it's just that kind of alcohol in particular, though. I rarely feel a difference, though, either way, when I drink alcoholic beverages and have a headache.

Use of the expression LOL in an online environment causes headaches. At least in me.*

I have occasional headaches, so I can empathize. Usually my medication of choice is Advil Liquid capsules. I don't drink, mine are from stress or stuffed sinus. If its a bad headache need to lay down and be quiet.
I wish all of you all the best.

Wine'll often give me a headache when I was fine to begin with. Only red wine though. Beer is usually cool, and liquor usually makes everything better.

Dehydration is another common source of headaches. Be sure to drink plenty of h2o, particularly in these hot summer months.

Scotch whiskey will give me a near instant migraine. Which is O.K., because I don't really like the taste of it.

ever had a migraine so bad you lose feeling in some of your limbs? not fun.
doesn't seem alcohol make a difference one way or another though. loud noises and bright lights are a definite negative.

About 4 times a year, it really puts me out. A couple times I had to go to the hospital for it, a shoot, almost instant relief.

I had a headache last night too. The entire front of my face ached, even behind and around my eyeballs. I was feeling sick to my stomache too, almost thought I was going to ralph. Does that sound like a migraine?

Had one for three month actually. I had a quack doctor who diagnosed everything but the real problem. Took a bunch of medicine for just about everything. An opthamologist discovered the problem. It ended up being caused by fluid buildup in my skull and pressure on my optic nerve was causing the pain. Tunnel vision, sensitivity to light, tingling of limbs, muscle spasms, nausea, and severe pain.
Mine are mostly caused by the barometric pressure rising. Which is a sign of nice weather. So, when we have bad weather for a few days and it finally clears up I am laid out on the couch with a heavy pillow on my head. I finally found a medicine that works, Axert. But it's so expensive that even GM's insurance won't cover it. I have to go through just about every other migraine medicine therapy before GM will cover the prescription for Axert. It runs about $30 a pill. So far it is the only medicine I have heard of the GM won't cover. I currently have a protest claim filed with the insurance company. We'll see how that goes.
