Hi,
I tried to find without success some high resolution pictures of the playstation 2.
I'm talking about high quality pictures equivalent to the ones that can be
found in the PR section at apple.com..
Any idea/link will be greatly apreciated ..

I attempted this for someone making a 3D render of a PS2, and failed (although there are some fairly high res version of the new PSX).
I could do some for you if you want, they wont look as 'professional' as the ones from Apple (Pro photography in a studio with perfect lighting v my amateur effort in my bedroom) but tell me what you need and I will try my best.

Very few companies supply 'press' quality images of there products freely on the net. Even amongst car manufactures Apples example is very rare.

i work for a magazine, and have some high resolution press picts at work (original ps2 and aqua ps2)

It's hard to find them some times, but there are press sites. I ran a video game fan site a few years ago and knew of a few back them. But anyway I just checked my images archive and I've got a few PS2 hi-res images. I've uploaded them here:
