Hello, For some reason my "submarine" sound effect got messed up. There is a "popping" sound at the end of it! Not sure how this happened.
Can someone else check thiers and see if its ok?
Also, could someone host it somewhere so I can download it?
Thanks very much!
OH! it's in /system/library/sounds/

Actually I googled the sound - so I found it - but I discovered something curious. Pretty much all the sound effects were "created" 7/14/02" and "modified" 7/14/02" except submarine was created that date but modified 12/24/02. I wonder what modified it then? is anyone elses this way?
Thanks!

Have you installed any Macromedia software? It's (or more specifically, the security software) been known to muck around with the submarine sound...

It recently also happened to me. "Submarine" has a short but noticeable disturbance at the end. Can i cut it of with an audio editor and save it back in shortened form?

Wow. You should win a prize for resurecting a thread that's over one year old!
BTW, "Submarine" most certainly has been around longer than 10.3.3...
